Our guests today were Kathryn Dalton and Megan Romphf, Community engagement coordinators for our local United Way Office.
They are the local faces in charge of day to day operations here in Portage and Central Plains District. They explained that our local United Way now falls under the umbrella of United Way Brandon & District. They have expanded their capacity to ensure local donors, sponsors and volunteers still have the opportunity to support the Central Plains community. We were also very pleased to learn that all local agencies receiving funding from United Way will continue to do so and that Megan and Kathryn have lots of plans for the upcoming year to continue to build community and help keep donors engaged.
