Our guest today was Her Worship, Mayor Sharilyn Knox. She was able to provide us with an overview of her role in the 132 days since being elected.
The overview was varied and diverse; from meeting with the new council to orientate themselves into their new roles, to meeting with many different municipal and provincial leaders, to countless interactions with the citizens of Portage la Prairie and beyond. Not to mention regular council and committee meetings. Ms. Knox is our City’s second female Mayor and first since 1978. Thanks for joining us!
