Craig Dunn from Craig Dunn Motor City was today’s speaker at Rotary. He talked about the constant change in the auto industry and recent challenges and trends.
The internet provided opportunities for increased product visibility and transparency and while it has changed how people shop for vehicles, dealerships remain an integral part of the purchase process. Craig Dunn introduced a ‘touchless’ experience during the pandemic but relatively few customers took advantage, preferring to come to the dealership for service. Supply chain issues and limited inventory will continue to be challenges for some time. Increased electric vehicle production, hydrogen fuel cell technology, autonomous vehicles and artificial intelligence are exciting developments in the auto industry. We appreciated Craig offering his time to talk about the dealership’s efforts to provide a positive customer experience and his optimism for the future.
