Our club was so pleased to be joined today by Ivan Merrick (pictured here, center in the full group photo) from the Rotary Club of Athlone, Ireland, District 1160. Ivan shared just a few of the projects their club participated in over the course of the year, which include youth leadership development, high visibility safety vests for school age children and hosting a memorial service that raises needed funds for charitable groups in their community. It was great to see the tie that binds all Rotary Clubs all around the world; that being Service Above Self. Thank you so much for joining us Ivan, please give our best to your home club.
