Our guest today was Guy Moffat - Regional Campus Manager - Red River College.
Guy shared with us some new and innovative programs and supports at the College including the Portage Innovation Center, an entrepreneur in residence co-working space for up to 4 people which also includes the Fab Lab, a space for makers to craft their wares with the support of state of the art technology such as 3D printers. Guy also highlighted plans that are in the works to create The Discovery Patch, an inclusive community garden where all people can connect with nature and neighbours, where food is grown and with a spirit of sharing and learning. The project is now actively seeking out sponsorship partners. Thanks for joining us Guy and for sharing all the great things happening at Red River College.
